EE Board Meets Today
It's the third Monday of
the month again, and the EE board will hold it's open
meeting at the Ramada at 1 pm.
Leaning in to catch every nuance? Wishing you had a
name plaque, too? The Board will be looking for a few
good neighbors to stand for election in January of 2018.
The only requirement is that you be the current owner of
record of an EE property.
Oktoberfest!
Celebrate the return of the fall season at the
Hospitality Committee's Oktoberfest at the Ramada
on Tuesday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m. The
cost will be $8.00, and the menu includes bratwurst,
sauerkraut, German potato salad, navy beans and
dessert, and, of course, beer. Prost! For those who
do not like Bratwurst, there will be hamburgers and
hot dogs. Wearing a Bavarian dirndl or lederhosen is
optional, but if you want to get into the Bavarian
spirit without a fancy costume, at least try
adorning your regular attire with a wiesn glupperl
instead of your EE name badge.
No Movie This Week
Movies will return next Wednesday. Thanks to Jane
and Eric Ellingson for sponsoring this event.
EE Roads on THE LIST
No, it's not a new reality show. Green Valley
Council's (GVC) list of priority road repairs presented
to the Pima County Transportation Advisory Committee
included two of our neighborhood streets--Portillo and
Napa. EE thanks Joe McCalpin for his
work with GVC.
Board Attends School
Well, not exactly. EE Board Members Tom
Cooke, Dave Sielken, Frank McCabe, Kris Bean and Dean
Hess attended an informational seminar
sponsored by Green Valley Council last week. Attorney
Carolyn Goldschmidt presented the 2017 Legislative
Update for HOAs.
